Living room update: Rodin art prints

I’ve been taking my time to decorate my apartment so I fill it with pieces I love. Which if you’re currently decorating yours, this should be your first rule of thumb. Be patience and seek out items that you will love for a long time to come. Finding prints that fit my space that have a timeless quality is an ongoing hunt and I have a myriad of different options bookmarked. These prints which I finally hung a week ago were gifted to me for Christmas by my boyfriend’s mum. They were a lovely surprise gift as they are exactly what I would have bought myself! She purchased them from the Rodin Museum in Paris and they are available to purchase online!

As for the frames - I did a lot of searching online for oak frames to match my shelving unit and the colour of my wooden floors. In the end I went for plexi-glass over glass as I wanted to see if I could really tell the difference (glass is double the price). While I usually believe you get what you pay for when it comes to quality, I’m honestly not sure I can see a difference and as I wasn’t sure about the quality of the wood, I went for the more reasonable option. I bought mine from the Postery and I’m pretty happy with the result. If I need a larger frame in the future, I probably will opt for glass as with a larger surface area it’s likely that you’ll be able to see the difference in quality. Other sites to try: The Poster Club (glass frames, but double the price) and Disenio.
