Home goods

A curated selection of homewares, Furniture and Unique objects that i love, to help you create a thoughtful and beautiful home

vases

The vase has made a big come back in recent years and there are so many pretty styles to choose from, from cut and coloured glass to sculpturally shaped ceramic options. Adding a vase with fresh blooms is the easiest way to brighten up your space, so here’s my round-up of favourite pieces by some of my favourite brands that include Louise Roe Copenhagen, HAY, Fferrone Design and Venecia Berry.

ceramics

My mum makes ceramics (she has a studio in her back garden) and I’ve been surrounded by ceramic pieces for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I started collecting ceramic, porcelain and clay objects on my travels and now have quite a large collection at home in Paris. I love adding these little (often one-off) art pieces to my home which give it a unique personality. Below are a few of my favourites that you can easily purchase online.

Candles & Candle holders

The scent of a beautiful candle can add depth to a home and I generally have a few on the go at once that I alternate between. My favourite scents include fig, sandal wood and jasmin created by the likes of Cire Trudon, Diptyque and Le Labo.

COFFEE TABLE BOOKS

I’m a big book worm, I read a lot and I’ve always loved beautiful books, and I also believe that no coffee table is complete without aesthetically pleasing hard-backed reading material. I regularly pick up art books at exhibitions and I like nothing more than flicking through a tome on interiors while drinking a cup of tea at home.

SEATING

I have a penchant for iconic and unusual seating inspired by the likes of Jean Prouvé, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, as well as Scandinavian designers. Shop a few of my favourites below.

Kitchen & dining

I love to cook and entertain and a huge part of this requires table dressing - here’s an edit of items I would love to be adorning my table with from linens and cutlery to beautiful serving bowls.

glassware

Pretty glasses and wine glasses are must-haves if you love to entertain. And an elegant carafe and matching glasses will inspire you to drink more water too.

soft furnishings

Although my interior aesthetic errs on the side of neutral and minimal, I like to create cosy spaces. Here are a few items that I would add for warmth and texture.

Lighting

Unique lighting instantly adds warmth and interest to your home. Here’s a mini edit of a few of my favourite ceiling pendants, table lamps and floor lights.

BEDDING

There’s no better feeling than crawling into beautiful sheets at night after a long day to help you sleep better. I love neutral tones and usually opt for washed linen or Egyptian cotton. I also love silk pillowcases to help to keep your face crease free. Below are styles from a few of my favourite brands such as The White Company, MADE and Crate & Barrel.

Plant Pots & Planters

You might have noticed that I’ve been flexing my green fingers since moving apartment. It’s become a type of therapy waking up everyday and checking on my plants and herbs on my small Parisian balcony. I’ve also been learning a thing or two how to take care of them. Here’s a selection of design driven items to keep them looking good too.
