Autumn/Winter Wardrobe Wishlist

The merits of a capsule wardrobe is something I talk about a lot. I mention it frequently on my social media and often write about it for Who What Wear UK. I recently practised what I preach as I swapped over my summer clothing for autumn/winter. In doing so, I included a huge edit of my cold weather pieces that not only freed up space in my closet, but I can also now see exactly what I have hanging in my wardrobe. This in turn makes getting dressed in the morning a lot easier. This is the first round and I will then will go back through and sell or donate everything I haven’t worn for a couple of years. I don’t know about you, but after the last two years I would like less in my life and this relates to my clothes. Now that I know exactly what I have, this also means that I only currently have a few items on my wishlist - win win.

One of the main items I’m coveting this autumn/ winter is a creamy beige slightly oversized wool coat and it’s been on my wishlist for a while. This one is top of my list, but it’s a bit over budget for the moment, so I’m currently considering this more affordable version, which is a great wrap style à la française. Another item are these sneakers, which I’ve had my eye on for a while. When it’s not raining, sneakers are all I want to be wearing as I’ve been doing a lot of walking around Paris recently. I’ve also just ordered this baseball cap - perfect for colder whether and the bonus is it comes in different sizes; I have tough time finding baseball caps to fit my small head, but I’m hoping this one will work - watch this space… or rather my Stories on Instagram.

I also have my eye on these affordable black leather loafers, this multi-coloured wool scarf, which will pair with all my coats, silver hoop earrings and this gold necklace that I can wear with everything from tops under blazers to over knits. And that’s it! Due to my work, I am very lucky that I am often gifted a few items, which I’ve been sharing with you on Instagram, but here are a few items below that I’m also loving, but will have to keep on the wishlist for now.
