Stylish Living in Paris with stylist, Sylvie Mus

Welcome to a new series! With Stylish Living I’m interviewing some of the most stylish women I know to find out a little more about how they live and their home, wardrobe and beauty essentials. I hope you’ll enjoy it!

First up is Paris-based stylist and influencer, Sylvie Mus. We met at an Agolde breakfast a couple of years ago just after she’d relocated from Helsinki to Paris. I’d been following her for a while, having fallen in love with the way she dresses and so quickly introduced myself. She’s since become a friend and I knew I wanted to start with her for this series, as she epitomises that effortlessly-chic and timeless Parisian style, but with a contemporary twist.

Born in Rwanda, Sylvie grew up in Finland and it is clear that her Scandinavian upbringing has influenced the way she puts outfits together and characterized her enviable style, allowing her to amass such a large social media following. I would certainly recommend following her feed (if you don’t already!), as she creates easy-to-replicate, simple yet incredibly stylish outfits, so much so that she has garnered the interest of a myriad of brands and today works regularly with the likes of Citizens of Humanity, J.Crew, NET-A-PORTER, Joseph, By Malene Birger and St. Agni.

Her defined sense of personal style unsurprisingly spills into her living space, which is clean, minimal and with little pops of color. Her home aesthetic focuses on key vintage pieces (sourced via Selency), and exudes the same natural elegance that comes across in her outfits.

Read on for Sylvie’s essentials and to shop her style.
