STYLISH ACTIVEWEAR TO GET YOU IN THE MOOD TO MOVE

Photographed in le jardin des Tuileries, Paris

Firstly a quick disclaimer: it is currently far too cold to exercise outside in Paris right now (for me that is). Although there were a few runners donning wooly hats running past our shoot (snapped two weeks ago), I was literally freezing my butt off while getting these photos. And the temperature has only continued to drop in the past week. It snowed last week! If you weren't in hibernation, you would have seen the slurry of images coming through on Instagram of us all frolicking in the snow. Snow is a rare sight for Paris - see my previous post

Full admiration for all the runners I've seen (except on snow days), but you crazy. After a month of rain, we did have one day of sun at the beginning of February, so I literally bolted outside to take advantage of the rays (which seemed to disappear as soon as we took the camera out of the bag) to photograph this fun active wear outfit that certainly makes me feel a little more like moving and less like hibernating under a rug with a hot water bottle (oh yes) on the sofa, every time I put it on!

I was invited to try an Anti-Gravity class (aerial yoga) at Paris' new Klay Club last month (have you tried it??) by The Outnet - where you spend an hour suspended in the air or upside down doing various yoga poses - and was happily gifted this very cool and starry active wear outfit. Wearing stars certainly puts a spring in your step. I'm sure you all know the saying: dress for the job you want. Why not relate this to exercise? Wear clothes that actually make you want to get out of bed and go to the gym, and that get you excited about working out! So I've selected a few of my favourite items below.
