Packing for... The South of France

We’re off to the south of France next Friday for our summer holidays, which will entail two weeks exploring a few of my favourite parts of France - places we visited two years ago on our first holiday together that I can’t wait to go back to (I love discovering new countries, but there’s something so comforting about returning to a place you’re already familiar with) - plus a visit to friends who live just outside of Montpellier. We’ll be driving down from Paris, which means no luggage limit, so I’m already getting excited about outfits I might put together, but it doesn’t mean I won’t carefully select pieces I will actually wear. I start planning what I’m going to pack in advance of any upcoming trip and this one has me day dreaming about long white floaty dresses, blue and white stripes, trekking sandals (these Balenciaga tourist sandals are high on my wishlist, but they are very similar to my Tevas, so not sure I can justify the splurge) and of course baskets bags (a must-wear in the south of France if you ask me). So I’ve curated a selection of pieces that I would love to take with me, in case you need some last-minute holiday style inspiration.
