A weekend in Lake Como: a visual diary

This past weekend, we were lucky enough to spend a couple of nights in Lake Como at the magical Villa Làrio. I don’t like to name favourites, but this place was particularly special and by far one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in, in terms of location, views, interiors and dining experience. It was a dream to spend the weekend strolling along the shores of Lake Como and relaxing at the property - see the orange deck chairs on the pier.

We also had a bit of time to explore the lake and took the ferry on Sunday morning to the nearby town of Cernobbio for a coffee and then back to our village for lunch at the spectacular, newly-opened Insolito, which was one of the best meals I think I’ve ever eaten.
