The Summer Dress Selection

I’ve had this article sat in my drafts for the past two weeks as our May weather in Paris has been pretty miserable. While there have been a few rays of sun, we’ve had daily heavy downpours and sometimes even hail! Yesterday things started looking up so I thought it time to put together my round-up for you, and I don’t know about you, but as soon as it gets warmer - the first thing I want to do is throw on a dress! This is a curation of my favourite styles on the web and high street, ranging from low to high-end, so you’ll always find a dress within your budget and I’ve categorised them so it should be easy to find what you’re looking for!

I personally have a few staple summer dresses that I wear year after year. I squirrel them away in my wardrobe (or inside my bed - I have one of those lift up mechanisms for storage) and as soon as the temperatures rise they make an appearance, such as this Ganni style that I’ve had going on five years and this black midi dress which is definitely a wardrobe summer staple in my book. Below are my pick of the dresses that although stylish, will stand the test of time so you can wear them for many summers to come, especially if your holiday plans this year won’t include any travel.

I’m still working on my few summer plans (which will be close to home this year), the first being a weekend to Biarritz in the south of France next week, which I cannot WAIT to do. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen the sea and I’m hoping the weather will be warm enough to wear lighter clothing and even one of the dresses below!
