My Autumn Wishlist

Hello! I honestly don’t know where the last month went. I came back from Bali and it was full steam ahead into September and autumn with events, catching up with friends, a wedding and work. I’m incredibly lucky to live in a city like Paris, but with so much going on it can sometimes feel like life is going at the speed of light! But after two incredible weeks in Bali, I felt ready for it and coming back there’s a new energy in the air that I haven’t felt in a long time. I know that the last few years have taken their toll on many of us and I certainly felt a malaise for a long time, but arriving back in Paris after two wonderful weeks away, I felt ready for La Rentrée and I certainly came back with a renewed sense of excitement for life and the future - I don’t know if it was travelling and experiencing a new country or that this feeling is universal - a few friends have mentioned feeling this way too, so I wonder if you’re feeling it too? I hope so.

I’ve also felt a renewed excitement for fashion, style and dressing up - I certainly feel myself again in this sense. And even though I’ve been suffering from a horrible eye infection these past two weeks, I’m trying not to let it effect my moral or what I want to wear, and am enjoying discovering my autumn wardrobe again - denim favourites, leather pants (I just received this black version of the green in the photo that I’ve been living in), heavier blazers - this one has been on rotation the last few weeks, this Jenni Kayne knit that has become a staple (for warm weather too) and I updated my sneakers for the new season - these took some time to track down, but I’m obsessed. There are a few other items that I have my eye on, including a longer length skirt, a bomber jacket, these leather pumps, and brown suede bag (I’m feeling lots of brown right now). Below are a few favourite pieces from my go-to brands, such as Toteme, Arket, COS, Acne Studios and Pixie Market, and you can find more in my Autumn Shop. Have a great week xx
